We work across Moray only. For lawn care that means the triangle between Cullen, Nairn and Aberlour, which takes in Buckie, Elgin, Forres, Fochabers, Lossiemouth, Mosstodloch, Garmouth, Spey Bay, Roseisle and Keith. Garden and mowing programmes run in a slightly tighter area, from Cullen to Alves and up the Spey to Aberlour. If you are on the edge, ask; postcodes decide it.
Bob prices the year's visits for your garden, then divides the total into twelve equal monthly payments, taken by Standing Order or by card through our scheduling system. You pay the same in February as in July, and the price covers everything on your programme, including the autumn scarify or the hedge trims. Extras are quoted and agreed before they are added.
Our lawn, garden and mowing work runs as programmes, because that is what keeps a garden in good order and lets us give every customer a reliable slot. The exceptions are tree and fruit tree pruning and one-off winter clear-downs, which can be booked on their own. If you want the garden looked after properly, a programme is the place to start.
September into early October. Scotland's autumn arrives sooner than guides written for the south of England allow for, and the grass needs to be growing strongly to fill in after the scarifier. Autumn is the main event, so an autumn scarify with hollow-tine aeration is included in both Lawn Care levels. Premium adds a second scarify in spring
For most medium and large gardens here, a visit every two weeks through the growing season keeps on top of things, with two or three hours of gardening time depending on the garden. Weekly is rarely needed; monthly lets weeds get established between visits. Over winter, a few visits cover the pruning and structural work.
