Grass on the Moray coast grows fast from May to July and keeps going well into autumn, and a fortnight is about as long as most lawns can be left before the cut starts to look uneven.
The Mowing Programme puts a team on your lawn on a fixed fortnightly cycle with additional weekly visits during the high season, and a start of season edge preperation: we mow with the cut height set for the season and conditions, trim the edges and around obstacles, then blow the lawn, paths and patio clear so it looks finished. The schedule flexes for the weather and slows as growth slows in autumn. Like every Highland Green programme it is paid in one even monthly amount across the year, with the price set by lawn size.

Cut at the right height for the time of year: higher in dry spells to protect the grass, lower when it is growing well. Stripes if the lawn suits them.

Edges along beds and paths kept sharp and the awkward spots around trees, fences and furniture strimmed, so the whole lawn looks finished.

Paths, patios and driveways blown clear of clippings before we leave. And if you're not in, it's not an issue. Everything still gets done properly.

Questions About the Mowing Programme?
No. Mowing runs as a scheduled programme so the lawn is kept at a consistent height all season, which is better for the grass and lets us plan our routes properly. If you need the lawn cut regularly, we would be glad to quote.
Higher than most people think. Longer grass shades the soil, roots deeper and copes far better with the dry weeks we get in a Moray June. We raise the cut in dry spells and bring it down again when growth picks up.
Growth slows to almost nothing from November, so visits pause or move to as-needed and the monthly payment stays the same, because it covers the whole year's cutting.
Yes, and it makes sense to. The two run on one schedule and one payment, or you can move to the Complete Garden Programme if the beds and hedges need care as well.
